Developer Relations Manager

At Soluto we highly value the open source community and are becoming more active in this realm. We use many open source tools and invest resources in developing products for this community. As we’re growing, it’s increasingly important for us to give back, and we’re looking for someone to help us grow our presence within this important community.

Developers are at the core of what we do at Soluto - both for our open source and our core service. This role will own the full funnel, from developers just hearing about Soluto to contributing to open source projects. The role’s main function is to increase Soluto’s presence within the community by showcasing our amazing people and technology.

This is a role for a techie person who loves connecting with other developers and partners, enjoys teaching, speaking and writing about cutting-edge technologies and finds it natural to engage with developers on Twitter and other social media.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain Soluto’s developer community from scratch
  • Plan the company’s participation in conferences, meetups, hackathons, etc. and increase our presence within these communities
  • Lead Soluto Engineering’s PR and social media
  • Focus on crafting resources, including demos, code samples, documentation, how-to guides, and blog posts
  • Be in charge of everything related to the developer experience including marketing, education and the dev community
  • Experiment with different channels and approaches, measuring KPIs and deciding where to allocate resources
  • Work closely with our engineering team, pushing them to increase their involvement in the dev community
  • Be an expert on, discover, and update best practices through observation and interaction with Soluto developers

Who you are:

  • A storyteller, highly creative, energetic, and communicative, with good writing and presentation skills
  • A strong technical background, a good understanding of dev culture and tools (i.e., GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.)
  • Experience in engaging developer communities, whether through hackathons, meetups, or online
  • An ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Native English level fluency
